Warren Conn
Case Information & Details
Warren Conn, a 50-year-old man formerly of Kings Park Mews, Lurgan, and previously residing in Sandwich, Kent, has been involved in significant criminal legal proceedings in the UK. He was arrested in January 2026 after a woman discovered a 25-minute video on an old mobile phone depicting him sexually assaulting her several years prior. The victim had no recollection of being filmed or consenting to the acts.
Upon investigation, police found additional recordings confirming rape and a "large quantity" of indecent images of children on his devices. Conn was detained by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) at his home in County Armagh and subsequently transferred to Kent Police.
Following three interviews over two days, Warren Conn confessed to the offenses and pleaded guilty to all 15 sexual offense charges, which included multiple counts of rape and possession of indecent images of children. The offenses occurred between August 2016 and July 2018 while he was living in England.
On May 28, 2026, Conn was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court. He received a 14-year prison sentence, with 14 years to be served in custody and the remainder on license. He will also be subject to Sexual Offender Registration and a Sexual Offences Prevention Order indefinitely. Detective Constable Joe Warner commended the victim's courage, emphasizing that victims can come forward regardless of the time passed.
