Pearse Crudden
Case Information & Details
Pearse Crudden, an individual from County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, has been involved in at least two significant criminal cases in the UK.
1. Exposure and Indecent Acts
In 2018 and 2019, Crudden was involved in incidents where he repeatedly exposed himself and performed sexual acts while delivery drivers brought pizza to his home. He was formally charged with three counts of exposure in February 2019. Crudden denied all charges, but after protracted proceedings, he was convicted in March 2022. The court heard that on one occasion in July 2018, a delivery driver was met by Crudden "naked from the waist down and in an aroused state." Another driver reported seeing Crudden "seated on the stairs completely naked while performing a sex act". He was sentenced to a nine-month Probation Order, but no Sex Offender Registration or Sexual Offences Prevention Order was imposed. His identity, initially withheld due to threats of self-harm, was later revealed by the press.
2. Perverting the Course of Justice (False Rape Claim)
Crudden was also involved in a case of perverting the course of justice. On February 11, 2018, he made a false allegation that he had been raped by his ex-partner. He contacted police on February 18, 2018, claiming the incident occurred after they had been drinking together. The case was brought before Dungannon Crown Court in 2022 and experienced multiple adjournments. Crudden, who consistently denied the offence for over three years, pleaded guilty in November 2025, just as his trial was set to begin. He was remanded on £500 bail to attend sentencing on January 30. On July 3, 2026, Crudden, then 42, was jailed for 15 months for perverting the course of justice and was issued a five-year Restraining Order banning contact with the victim. The false allegation led to his ex-partner being arrested and held in custody for 16 hours.
