In November 2022, Omareo Bryant, then 18 years old and residing in Kipling Close, Hitchin, was charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Stevenage on September 16, 2022. The incident involved a 27-year-old man who sustained a puncture wound to his chest outside Lonsdale Court. Bryant was arrested the day after the incident and subsequently charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH), possession of a bladed article, and possession of cannabis. He appeared at St Albans Magistrates Court on November 5, 2022, where he pleaded guilty to cannabis possession and received a fine for this offense. Bryant was scheduled to reappear at St Albans Crown Court on December 5, 2022, for the GBH and bladed article charges.
More recently, in September 2025, Omareo Bryant, identified as 21 years old and still of Kipling Close, Hitchin, was charged with class A drug supply offenses and firearms offenses. These charges followed raids conducted by Hertfordshire police's County Lines Investigation Unit on September 25, 2025, in Hitchin, during which over £10,000 in cash, cocaine, heroin, cannabis, and various weapons including a viable firearm were seized. Bryant was remanded in custody and was due to appear in court again on October 28, 2025.
