Dexter Slater
Case Information & Details
Public criminal records in the UK indicate that an individual named Dexter Slater has been involved in at least two separate legal proceedings.
Case 1: Handling Stolen Goods (Power Tools)
In June 2023, Dexter Slater, then 24 years old and from Blackburn, was sentenced for handling stolen goods. He was arrested in July 2021 following the delivery of a suspicious parcel to a house in Waddington. Slater had allowed his address and others on his street to be used for the delivery of parcels containing power tools and accessories, which were believed to have been purchased using stolen credit cards from an online company called FFX. The total value of the fraudulent orders was approximately £24,000. Slater pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods in February 2023 but pleaded not guilty to fraud by false representation. Judge Gioserano sentenced Slater to a 12-month community order, which included 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 180 hours of unpaid work.
Case 2: Cocaine Dealing Conspiracy
More recently, Dexter Slater, aged 26 and residing on Whitaker Drive, Blackburn, was involved in a cocaine dealing conspiracy. He was sentenced in July 2026 to six years and nine months in prison for his role in this conspiracy. His co-defendants in the case were sentenced in May 2026, and Slater's sentencing was adjourned due to his barrister's unavailability. This case was part of a larger operation that brought down a gang that had supplied Class A drugs for almost five years. Court records also show a public court proceeding for Dexter Slater (reference 04ZL2392224) at Preston Crown Court and Family Court (Sessions House) with a hearing date of May 20, 2026, and another on June 11, 2026, both at 10:30 AM. These hearings were related to the drug conspiracy case, where he was identified as a sixth member of the gang.
