Daniel Estridge
Case Information & Details
Daniel Estridge, 43, of Falkner Street, Toxteth, UK, has been sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison for firearms and drug offenses. He was convicted of firearms offenses, including possession of a prohibited weapon and ammunition without a certificate, as well as possession and supply of Class A and Class B drugs, and possession of criminal property.
The case was heard at Liverpool Crown Court, and Estridge pleaded guilty to the charges. The sentencing took place on July 1, 2026.
The charges stemmed from a law enforcement operation in May 2025, when Matrix officers executed a search warrant at Estridge's flat. During the search, they discovered a semi-automatic pistol and five rounds of ammunition hidden inside a slow cooker, along with over a kilogram of cannabis (valued between £7,556 and £11,352), 4.45g of cocaine (75% purity, worth £191 to £441), scales, drug packaging, and £25,360 in cash. Estridge's DNA was found on various parts of the firearm.
During the police raid, Estridge made an incriminating comment about his "good mood" being ruined by the discovery of the gun, prompting his girlfriend to tell him to "be quiet and stop talking". Prosecutors highlighted that the combination of firearms and drugs represented a serious threat to public safety. Estridge has one previous conviction for assault occasioning actual bodily harm from 1998.
