Case Information & Details

Casey Colton-Young, a 20-year-old individual in the UK, has been involved in significant public criminal proceedings related to stalking and harassment. In 2024, a stalking protection order was issued against him after he persistently harassed five women, using racist and threatening language. This order required him to inform Nottinghamshire Police of all his devices, social media accounts, and any relationships he formed.

Colton-Young was arrested twice in the past year (October and December) for failing to comply with the stalking protection order and committing further offenses against new victims. During one arrest, officers found him attempting to hide a mobile phone.

His harassing behavior included using a friend's WhatsApp to contact a victim after being blocked, creating new social media accounts to add her, and sending a Snapchat post indicating he was in the area where she had moved for university. Another victim reported receiving multiple messages and phone calls from Colton-Young, in which he threatened to damage property and cause serious harm, including threatening to rape her and hold a knife to her sister's throat.

Despite initially denying wrongdoing during police interviews, Colton-Young later pleaded guilty to five counts of breaching a stalking prevention order and stalking causing serious alarm or distress. He was also found guilty of sending communications threatening death or serious harm.

On July 8, 2026, at Nottingham Crown Court (case reference 31CF2059823), Casey Colton-Young was sentenced to 38 months in a young offender institution. He was also issued indefinite restraining orders for multiple victims. Detective Sergeant Gemma Patterson described Colton-Young as a "dangerous offender who has shown no remorse".
